Group Portfolio Controller, Leading Investment Firm recruitment
My client are a successful investor in UK-headquartered services businesses that operate in growing, fragmented markets. They function as an effective industrial holding company with an ever expanding portfolio of attractive companies that they work in partnership with.
Due to continued growth and success, they are looking for a proactive, motivated and results driven finance professional capable of influencing and challenging senior stakeholders.
This is a newly created and highly commercial position where the successful candidate will be given the freedom to shape the role.
You will oversee (not produce) all financial planning and reporting for all owned companies, providing independent, timely analysis of current and forecast performance for presentation to the board.
In addition you will build relationships with Heads of Finance within Portfolio Businesses to improve performance.
The successful candidate will be an ACCA or CIMA qualified accountant with significant post-qualified experience at group level within a large UK Corporate, ideally an industrial holding company.
