Beginning in the 1970s, Entertainment Partners has been developing and providing production accounting and payroll systems, including residuals payment systems, for the entertainment industry.  We operate in several states and oversee the well-known Central Casting business.

The Group Product Manager, Accounting will lead a team of product management professionals responsible for delivering industry defining production accounting applications for the entertainment industry.  The primary focus of this role is to drive customer satisfaction market share, while developing the talent and growing the engagement of the product management team.  Successful candidates will possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality. They must enjoy spending time in the market with customers to understand their problems and find innovative solutions for the broader market.  They must be able to work effectively with all areas of the company including but not limited to product support, client services, software development, marketing, marketing strategies and executive leadership to analyze, recommend, prioritize and implement product enhancements as well as new products.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

·   Manage the entire production accounting product line life cycle from strategic planning to rollout and ongoing operations

·   Measure Net Promoter Score and market share, making the appropriate recommendations to drive both

·   Manage and develop a team of product management professionals

·   Build products from existing ideas and help to develop new ideas based on your product management experience as well as your contact with customers and prospects

·   Work with marketing to understand the competitive landscape and combine that with in-depth knowledge of the product and customer to build and execute a winning strategy

·   Serve as the internal and external evangelist for your products and services

·   Conduct build/buy/partner analyses related to new products and enhancements to existing products

·   Initiate and review market research to better understand and define customer needs as well as the competitive landscape for your product segment

·   Identify growth opportunities for EP

 

EDUCATION EXPERIENCE

 

·   5+ years of experience in product management or equivalent, with progressive growth and demonstrated success driving Net Promoter Score or customer satisfaction for a desktop software application or Web-based product

·   3+ years of experience managing and developing high-performing teams

·   Experience in the accounting industry

·   Team Player

·   Occasional travel may be required

·   BA or BS; MBA preferred
