Group Regulatory Assurance Manager recruitment

Role

Responsible for supporting the team in providing assurance to the senior and executive management that the banks regulatory risk profile is evaluated and managed appropriately, through taking part in risk-based, global assurance reviews.  Supporting the team in its oversight of key regulatory issues arising, and ensuring the effective identification, assessment, management and monitoring of regulatory risks in accordance with regulatory requirements and Risk Management standards.

Deliverables:

Take part in risk based oversight and assurance activities undertaken by the team, and provide support to the team in its ongoing evaluation and challenge to the effectiveness of risk and issues management practices discharged by the regulatory risk functions and/or business functions.

Analyse information provided by other parts of Regulatory Affairs and Compliance and/or other parts of the Bank in relation to regulatory matters, to support the team in ensuring that material/thematic issues and risks are identified and attended to by business and regulatory/ operational risk functions.

Support the team in ensuring that the oversight framework remains appropriate and in line with the expectations of the Executive and the regulators, including the FSA.

Support the identification of new areas requiring regulatory risk evaluation/ response, and the devising of responses/ methodologies.
