Group Regulatory Reporting Analyst

International Bank requires an experienced Regulatory Reporting analyst to join a team responsible for the production of Regulatory Reports for capital adequacy, RWA and large exposures.

The role will support the production, improvement and development work in the calculation of market risk requirement predominantly for equities and related products but can include interest rate products. There will be interaction with Finance Projects teams, IT and senior management throughout the life cycle of various projects and the candidate will be expected to contribute to project working groups and participate in analysis, UAT and BAU line reporting.

The successful candidate will me responsible for performing calculations for Equities Market risk under Basel 2 and Basel 3 and Preparation of daily monthly RWA reporting. You will ensure there is sufficient evidence around deliverables to support reports sent to Head Office and also help implement process improvements. You will also perform user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure that the functional solution is implemented properly, and that requirements are met.

Ideally you will have a number of years of relevant work experience in Regulatory Reporting or Financial Reporting within Investment Banking and have either Accounting or Risk qualification. Additionally some UAT experience or exposure to Projects will advantageous. It is essential that you have strong verbal and written communication skills and business analysis skills as well as familiarity with Basel framework and understanding of regulatory requirements.
