Group Reporting Analyst

currently recruiting for a Group Reporting Analyst to join a Blue Chip listed retail business based in central London. The role has been created to Drive the development of management information which delivers insight and supports commercial decision making within the group.

Reporting to the Group head of financial reporting and working closely with some of the most senior stakeholders in the business this is a high profile FPA role with excellent networking opportunities.

Responsibilities include:

·Development of meaningful historical and forward looking management information which provides further transparency and insight into the Group's Gross Margin and Opex margins.
·Develop timely, robust and relevant variance analysis (including commentary) to be included in the monthly Board report.
·Support Investor Relations by providing Gross Margin and Opex insight for the Half Year and Full Year results.
·Implement recently developed methodology to enable the Group to report margin consistently on a flow through basis.
·Liaise with the regions to ensure that the reporting is consistent with the underlying ledgers and that the Gross Margin is reported correctly both on a Group and regional basis.
·Business partnering with Group and Regional Finance teams to continually evolve month end processes and support Budget Forecasting processes.
·Assist with the development and roll out of a systems to enhance Opex Reporting.

The ideal candidate will have:

·Qualified with a number of years post qualified experience
·Ideally previous experience in an FPA role
·Previous multinational experience
·Strong analytical background
·Ability to work with senior stakeholders
