Salary: 60K – 65K
Our client is a leading Irish plc in strong growth mode. With a requirement for a Financial Reporting Accountant, you will report directly to the Head of Group Reporting and work together to prepare annual statutory accounts and financial reports. Located in Dublin 2, this is an excellent opportunity for a professional Accountant seeking to progress their career in an upward trajectory.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparation of annual statutory accounts and preparation of consolidation of group financial statements under IFRS
- MI reporting and external reporting as required including production of monthly MI report
- Preparation of monthly management accounts within strict deadlines including detailed variance analysis and associated commentary
- Acting as financial support to non-finance divisions across the business to ensure effective cost control
Key experience requires:
- Qualified Accountant with experience at least 2-3 years’ post qualification experience in a multinational / plc environment in a financial reporting capacity
- Strong financial reporting experience with good technical ability and exposure to IFRS
- Experience in a deadline driven, fast paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal ability
- Team player mentality and leadership qualities
