Group Risk – Operational risk Manager Analysis & Controls – $130k+super recruitment

Due to an internal promotion an excellent opportunity has has arisen to join group operational risk within one of the market leading financial services organisations.
This role is responsible for an operational risk at a group level, ensuring the processes and controls are in line with regulatory clients.
You will also develop new emerging risk infrastructure to identify and report these to senior management in the business.
As the successful candidate you will possess the following skillset:
- A strong operational risk background or other risk roles within operations or business roles including Risk and Control Assessment, Key Indicators, Monitoring, Data, Reporting and Incident Management experience
- Subject matter expertise in operational risk and banking, operations or other related risk disciplines
- Basel II, global best practice and APS115 understanding from an Operational Risk perspective
- Outstanding communciation skills are a pre requisite as this is a group level business facing role. You will be training, advising and negotiating with Senior managers across the business on a daily basis.
