Group Risk Pricing Actuary - Overseas

Working with Employee Benefits division, the purpose of this role is

Quotations: To produce timely and accurate responses to Group Risk quotation requests for, Multinational and domestic business received from brokers, clients and the  group, both for unit rate and single premium schemes.

Pricing Review: To provide technical direction to and support for the development and maintenance of products and pricing rates and factors to ensure the profitable underwriting, growth and retention of Group Life, PHI and Critical Illness business.

Analysis: To provide underwriting analytical support and oversight as required for the future growth and development of business.

Development: To be fully conversant with the level of cover provided within the various plans/schemes within the portfolio, and understand best practice.

Competitors: To monitor / analyse competitor offerings and propose appropriate responses.

Administration: To implement / maintain all required data bases to ensure effective administration of quotation / pricing data.

Required / Desirable Qualifications and Experience

 5-10 years relevant/specialised Group Risk pricing experience .
– other relevant experience in the Corporate / Product / Group Expatriate / International field will be taken into account.

Numerical competence working with claims, premiums and performance statistics.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Willingness to work to tight deadlines within a multicultural set up both on an individual basis and as part of a team.

Advanced knowledge and skills in relevant computer systems.

Graduate qualified with relevant actuarial (full or part) qualifications.
