Department Overview
PWM has embarked on an ambitious project to replace its core banking platform in all its off-shore locations globally. After having successfully completed the implementation of the NPP in Switzerland, the project is now concentrating on the roll out in Asia for Singapore and Hong Kong. Following the Asia rollout, NPP will concentrate on the other PWM locations. In order to better serve our business clients, PWM IT has decided to setup an in-house development center which would concentrate on providing industry-standard, top-quality technology platform. Providing a deep and broad business and technology experience, NPP has shaped many a career within the bank and provides a great opportunity to the result-oriented individuals both to grow professionally and personally.

Summary
The Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing the requirements and requests of the business, operations and other users of IT services, including the coordination of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) exercises. This role acts as the contact for the business divisions and technology solution providers for all aspects of solution identification.

Business Analysts support the Lead Business Analyst in communicating and reporting the status of service level agreements, key performance indicators and operating level agreements with other areas within IT.

Responsibilities
• Perform data analysis
• Defines and collects business requirements in collaboration with business partners and clients
• Collaborate closely with functional analysts and application owners as the business/functional counterpart in solution identification and maintenance
• Support newly identified conceptual designs newly and newly identified business solution options
• Supports creation of business case(s) outlining cost impacts and value drivers of proposed solutions
• Supports the preparation of feasibility studies and estimates
• Participate in the creation of Terms of Reference (ToR) documents and other related materials for projects
• Supports and completes UAT and test case coordination with the business
• Work with the business to design effective processes (Business Process Management)
• Support Application Services teams in functional test case generation and test result validation
• Collaborates with Application / Service Owners as the Process Management counterpart in the management of services (Business Process Management) such as requests, optimizations, etc
• Complete process repository and maintenance tasks on all processes in the domain/sub-domain (Business Process Management)

Requirements
• Degree from an accredited college or university with a concentration in Business, Economics or Computer Science (or equivalent qualification / work experience)
• Experience in business analysis and banking processes primarily in the area of Credit Risk Management
• Expertise in conceptualization and solution definition
• Basic knowledge and awareness of (related) business solutions in the marketplace
• Intermediate knowledge of business analysis methods and tools
• Ability to identify and interpret stakeholders needs and requirements
• Ability to work in virtual teams and matrixed organizations
• Ability to commit and prioritize work duties and tasks
• Excellent communication skills
• Fluent in English (written / verbal)
• Additional language(s) are an advantage
