Position Overview
The Collateral Management function at Deutsche Bank is responsible for one of the largest, most complex and most global programs in the market. With collateral assets under management commanding a significant position in the market today; coupled with the explosive growth in demand for our product the Collateral Management Valuations group continues to offer diverse and challenging roles.

Our Team
CM Team’s principal function is risk mitigation, covering all currency, equity, rates and credit derivatives as well as FX, repo and commodity products traded across the world for bilateral and Central Clearing arrangement.

The Collateral Team’s primary role is to aggregate and manage the bank’s exposure across its entire collateralized portfolio. The implementation of our effective collateral management agreements with our clients and central clearing houses have dramatically reduced the amount of credit risk associated with a transaction. Our successful collateral management program lowers the bank’s credit line utilization and significantly reduces regulatory capital charges, which in turn leads to greater trading capacities and higher returns on capital.

Responsibilities
• Act as first level of governance on services provided by service centres.
• Manage exceptional processing and facilitate client issue management with Front Office.
• Process and manage margin calls functions for priority clients.
• Liaise with various department (such as CRM, Sales, Trading, Finance, Middle Office etc) to investigate and resolve margin call disputes.
• Follow up with clients and settlements team to ensure proper settlement of collateral movements.
• Substantiation of collateral accounts against internal systems/ledgers etc.
• Ensure proper static set-up in various systems for correct margining.
• Respond to external and internal clients on queries related to margin calls or collateral-related issues.
• Participate in system enhancement projects or initiatives to improve processing workflows.
• Participate in market initiatives working forums to support new margining workflows.
• Provide client support which includes collation of clients' visit packs in timely manner.

Requirements
• Degree holders
• Fluency in Microsoft Office applications is a must. Strong excel skills are required.
• Entrepreneurial flair, innovation, flexibility and willingness to learn are key across all of our roles.
• Analytical problem solving skills, knowledge of financial instruments and/or Collateral Management are advantageous.
• Strong team player with good communication negotiation skills with good client focus.
• Language skills are advantageous.
• Good sense of controls and risks concepts.
