Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Design and development of reports to feed the industry wide Swaps Data Repository (SDR). Once the SDR has gone live the role will be investigation and resolution of queries relating to the positions submitted to the SDR to meet Dodd Frank regulatory requirements DB has to report FX positions to an industry wide database. To meet these reporting requirements additional staff will need to be taken on initially to work on development. After go-live they will switch to query investigation and resolution.
- Supporting FX and STIRT/MMD desks
- Product coverage for this role will be primarily FX, FX Options, Structured FX trades and Futures, Interest Rate Derivatives, Commodities (Metals), Loans, Deposits, Bonds and Repos
- Validating FX Structured trades through the use of DB Analytics and associated spreadsheets
- Lifecycle Event for Restricted Asia Entities including of Trade Capture and verification of IRDs
- Review trade and cash reconciliations between RMS, Summit, MarkitWire and Kondor+
- Liaising with Operations/Front Office/Sales to resolve queries or perform ad-hoc tasks relating to trade bookings
- Maintaining trading portfolios and static data
- Ensuring completeness of daily task list
- Oversight of Deutsche Knowledge Services, Manila in relation to task completeness, timeliness and other KPIs
- New/ongoing project roles including trade moves, UAT and system migrations.
Team responsibilities The Singapore GFFX GBS team consists of 25 people in total, including those more closely aligned to FX Support, PnL reporting and management. Globally, GFFX TMG has staff working out of four trading hubs: London, New York, Frankfurt and Singapore, as well as four support hubs: Birmingham, Jacksonville, Bangalore and Manila. The main responsibilities of the Singapore based GFFX GBS TMG team include:
- Supporting GFFX Trading in the Asia Pacific region, including Tokyo, Australia and New Zealand
- Business/Product coverage is FX Options, FX Cash, Short-Term Interest Rate Trading and Money Market Derivatives
- Providing T-Zero (Flash) PnL and Risk to the Traders and coordinating Desk sign-off
- Coordinating Operations, Front Office, Finance and other TMG teams to resolve queries and problems
Requirements
- University Degree
- Good general PC skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
- At least two years’ relevant product experience at an investment bank is a requirement
- Good knowledge of derivative and structured/exotic trading is preferable
- Knowledge of our trading systems is not essential, as the main risk management platform is in-house built but Markitwire/Swapswire or Summit is preferable
