Overview
PWM has embarked on an ambitious project to replace its core banking platform in all its off-shore locations globally. After having successfully completed the implementation of the NPP in Switzerland, the project is now concentrating on the roll out in Asia for Singapore and Hong Kong. Following the Asia rollout, NPP will concentrate on the other PWM locations. In order to better serve our business clients, PWM IT has decided to setup an in-house development center which would concentrate on providing industry-standard, top-quality technology platform. Providing a deep and broad business and technology experience, NPP has shaped many a career within the bank and provides a great opportunity to the result-oriented individuals both to grow professionally and personally.

Position Overview
The Quality Assurance and Testing Specialist works with the test team to develop testing strategies and devise test plans in order to ensure that applications meet business requirements and maintain Deutsche Bank’s high quality standards. The QA Testing Specialist identifies the tasks and resources needed to ensure that their specialized portion of the testing process ensures the software meets the requirements prior to release into a live environment. The QA Testing Specialist will specialize in a specific area of the testing process such as test automation, testing process, test tools, performance testing, data validation, load testing, regression testing, etc.

Responsibilities
Software Development Life Cycle Test Management
• Conduct quality gate management and release management activities
• Develop detailed test strategies and plans for system modifications based on technical and business specifications in accordance with DB standards. (Also covers multiple releases and components as well as incorporates best practice standards for testing.)
• Define requirements for test data environments
• Test effort estimation based on experience, tools and historical data
• Establish processes to support testing. i.e., test tools, repository, test area software
• Create test data and writing of test cases
• Execute testing based on test cases
• Manage test issues and risks
• Manage resources to deliver against the plan within agreed timeframes
• Collaborate with other project leads to minimize testing inter-dependency issues and agree migration to live environment
• Prepare and execute: functional, system, integration, and user acceptance procedures
• Test and analyze each component/phase of the systems development life cycle including the project requirements, design and programs
• Analyze test results, document issues and resolve errors. Retest corrections to ensure problems are resolved
• Document test summary and provision of product improvement suggestions and communicate the results

Requirements
• Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university with an IT-related concentration (or equivalent diploma/work experience)
• Participation and/or completion in Testing certification programs (Six Sigma, CQSA, CSTE or CSTP)
• T24 testing experience a must
• Proven experience in Testing roles (and/or leading testing teams) on software development or IT-related projects
• Technology knowledge and expertise
• Customer and service orientation to support interaction with team resources and clients
• Performance and productivity oriented to drive toward quality testing outcomes and results
• Previous program and project management experienc
• Proven experience with IT Risk Management and Control policies and procedures
• Proactively, initiate, develop and maintain effective working relationships with team members
• Demonstrated ability to work with a variety of people and achieve results.
