Job responsibilites:
- The candidate will join the Regional team - Payment Clearing Services Operations in Singapore and report to the Regional Head of Payment Clearing Services.
- The candidate is required to have the product knowledge and operational experience of working in Cash Management Operations and managing teams.
- He/She will be required to lead and manage 4 or 5 countries in the region for Payment Clearing Services Operations.
- He/She will be required to engage and review new business initiatives, products and markets with the respective business lines and infrastructure groups to define the operating model.
- He/She will need to be familiar with all the Operating Procedures, implementing and monitoring of control framework and be responsible for handling periodic internal and external audits ,regulatory inspection and business continuity plans for the countries/branches.
- He/She will be required to monitor and manage the KRI's for PCS APAC on a periodic basis and maintaining Green RAG status.
- He/She will also require to support the branches by playing the interfacing manager with Technology Business teams for any Applications related matters.
- This role involves significant interaction with Regional Product, Sales, Implementation,Credit ,Finance, IT, Compliance Legal, Middle Office and a variety of internal and external clients.
Candidate requirements:
- Degree holder with a minimum 8 years relevant experience in any back office operations with a strong understanding of Operational workflows, Operational Risks, Controls and Accounting
- Strong People Management Skills
- High caliber individual with ability to drive change.
- Ability to multi task and prioritize in high pressure environment
- Ability to work independently and drive initiatives.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Good knowledge on Microsoft applications
