Business Description
AS – Finance and Accounting team in is looking for a Technical Architect Located in Singapore. This role is ideal for an IT architect looking for a challenging and rewarding role, with a very strong understanding of leading technologies and design techniques with proven track-record of architecture solution.

Position Overview
Conduct activities in the definition and specification of technical solutions. Team contributor working in the transference of business requirements functional specifications into technical specifications.

Responsibilities
• Complete and elaborate technical software design (high level design) in accordance with solution designed by solution architect and documentation of the same.
• Defines the integration strategy (including rationale), integration environment requirements, and determine the product-component integration sequence.
• Identifies software product components which need to be integrated.
• Identifies dependencies between software product components, between technical components (such as database tables and master data files), and between applications and interfaces.
• Assesses and identifies mitigation of risks including those related to high level design, integration, and quality of data.
• Identifies product integration verifications to be performed based on the integration sequence and relevant dependencies.
• Determines the impact on test or production environment (if any).
• Oversee database technical infrastructure.
• Oversee available technologies and utilities.
• Specify/select tools to enhance development process.
• Contribute to the definition of development and SW standards to implement/reflect the db guidelines (naming conventions, encryption, and security settings) and ensure standards are being adhered to.
• Ensure architectural changes (as defined by architects) are being implemented. • Evaluation of new products including prototyping (potentially on behalf of architects) and recommending new products.
• Provide level 3 support for technical infrastructure components (e.g. databases, middleware, user interfaces).
• Contribute to problem and root cause analysis.

Requirements
• Strong technical knowledge and experience with an absolute focus on delivery
• Strong technical architectural knowledge and experience
• Best practice development methodologies – Agile (Scrum), Test-driven development
• Strong Java OO Design Skills and ETL Design
• Experience of Informatica, J2EE, Spring, Struts, Spring MVC, Hibernate, Web Services, Oracle, Oracle exadata, JMS, XML, JUnit and Ant
• Technical oriented certificate from specialized school
• Bachelor Degree from an accredited college or university with a concentration in an IT related discipline (or equivalent diploma / work experience)
• Previous web development experience
• Previous experience of Finance Regulatory Applications
• Previous experience working with multi terabyte data warehouses / SAP / Informatica
