Position overview:

The Trade Capture teams are responsible for processing trades and support for respective trading desk ensuring complete and accurate capture of all transactions. Ensure there are robust controls and reconciliations in place to verify the completeness and accuracy of trade information.

Trade Capture roles have the following common characteristics:
• Complete and accurate capture of all transactions
• Responsibilities include trade validation, amendments, monitoring of option expiries and maintenances, resolving queries and being the primary point of contact for Traders.
• Duties include reconciliations, review of trade bookings and resolving settlement and trade queries.
• Participate in CTB initiatives of the team as well as domain-wide
• Liaise with different support teams for escalation and remediation of daily issues encountered
• Work with GBS Transaction Services, Transaction Accounting and Business Control to understand/complete trade-to-book process of a transaction
• Work with different stakeholders to improve existing processes and outputs

The key distinction between a general and a complex business area is the underlying products and the complexity thereof. In exceptional circumstances there may be system and/or process deficiencies that may result in a business area being classed as complex.

Job responsibilities:
• As per General Trade Capture Supervisor, but would be limited to one team that may/may not have a Lead daily processor
• Performs query resolution for processes within his/her teams remit and regularly assesses the effectiveness of the checks
• Provides training and support to daily processors in the performance of their roles
• Manages the resourcing needs of the team, people related issues and talent development
• Main interface with TC teams in trading hubs and provides inputs into both regular and adhoc forums with them (i.e. escalated issues reviews, control calls etc)
• Deals with items escalated by daily processors, fixing where possible or escalating to TL
• Provides summary of KRI's for their business area and remediation plans where SLA's are being missed and/or where issues exist
• Facilitates CTB initiatives and drives continuous improvement program within their team

Candidate requirements:
• Relevant experience in Trade Capture or related space
• Business Finance, Economics or equivalent degree with further relevant Masters an advantage
• Excellent understanding of FTB process and control environment
• Good cultural awareness and able to manage stakeholders across locations
• Good Stakeholder Management skills
• Good communication skills, fluent in English (written/verbal)
• Team worker, able to work in virtual global teams and in a matrix organisation
• Open minded, able to share information, transfer knowledge and expertise to team members
• Flexibility regarding problem solving
• Keeps pace with technical innovation and market driven initiatives and maintains a broad understanding of the GBS offering
• Degree level /or relevant practical experience
