GS Pricing Manager, Assistant Vice President recruitment

This individual will supervise the Pricing team reporting into the Global Pricing Manager in White Plains. The supervisor will be responsible for carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
•Ensure daily adherence to client SLA/KPIs
•Daily planning, delegating, workload balancing, problem solving, daily communication with team in Pune, India.
•Ensure that the staff is properly cross trained and maintains the knowledge and skill sets necessary to accomplish departmental objectives.
•Respond to client inquiries (internal and external) in both a detailed and professional manner.
•Present team updates.
•Participate in daily meetings with client and/or off shore team in Pune, India.
•Necessary reallocation of resources as priorities change.
•Coaching/mentoring of staff.
•Staff performance appraisals and goals review.
•Staff vacation monitoring and approval.
•Staff overtime signoff.
•Will work on strategic planning of Pricing and Valuations issues and processes.
•Will work very closely with Client to develop enhancements and applications to continually improve pricing process.
•Will work very closely with client to develop new pricing models, processes, and sources for valuation data.
•Will be providing supervision and support to the pricing staff and will validate their work and provide feedback.
•Implements strong standards and controls to ensure timely and accurate pricing.
•Implement measurable performance goals for Team.
•Develop relationships with Broker Contacts to improve quality and timeliness of pricing from brokers. Monitor and measure inputs from these parties.
•Work with Vendors to increase quality and coverage of pricing data.
• Oversee the completion of both internal and external audits. And work to apply changes requested by Audit.

Skills

Degree/Major Preferred:
Bachelor of Arts or Science in Finance, Accounting, Economics or some other Securities Related Degree

Required Education, Experience, Skills:
Either 4 year degree in a securities related major or at least 5 years of finance industry experience with supervisory experience. Strong communication skills both oral and written.

Desired Education, Experience, Skills:
Desired 4 year degree and at least 5 years related experience. Should have very strong experience in Fixed Income Operations (see above). Familiarity with Bloomberg and other data vendor services. Very good computer skills (Excel, Access, etc.) Good analytical or logical skills. Business writing a necessity.
