GSAM, Fixed Income Portfolio Management, Junior Portfolio Manager recruitment
The Junior Portfolio Manager will be an integral part of Gao Hua Asset Management’s (Goldman Sachs’ China Business) Fixed Income Portfolio management team. The candidate will be responsible for constructing portfolios, and monitoring positioning for Money Market portfolios pertains to our China business. In addition, the candidate will assist with business development opportunities and act as a product manager as well as spearhead coordination with operational teams. The candidate will also be required to communicate the investment philosophy, process, product positioning and current market trends to current and prospective clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Construction and ongoing management of Money Market portfolios
• Working with other portfolio managers, and traders to develop model portfolios that meet client needs
• Explaining product offerings to clients, including objectives, expected performance, risks and structure
• Creating marketing and client review materials to assist senior Portfolio Manager
Basic Qualifications
• Strong knowledge and understanding of the asset management business and investment products within the Fixed Income and
money markets.
• Interpersonal skills: ability to build the trust and confidence of clients, ability to strengthen client relationships through ongoing
dialogue and interactions, ability to work well with others internally to accomplish client objectives
• Strong organizational skills required to continuously manage ongoing demands of multiple clients simultaneously.
• Minimum 5 years relevant work experience during which time the candidate will have had trading experience ideally in Fixed
Income markets.
• Strong proficiency in Mandarin and English
