The individual will play a supporting role in GSAM’s institutional sale team in Korea, covering our Korean Fixed Income and Equity product sales, as well as sales for our off-shore product range. Our client base consists of major pension/public funds, insurance companies, and financial institutions.
Principle Responsibilities:
-Develop/maintain relationships with key persons in the major institutions including prospect client.
-Market the full range of GSAM’s products and services to an assigned client base.
-Co-ordinate response to request for proposals with appropriate portfolio managers and support staff.
-Participate in new product development discussions, providing feedback from client/prospect universe .
Experience / Skills:
-High calibre individual with a general understanding and knowledge of the asset management industry and products in Korea.
-The person will be expected to communicate well, foster close relationships with the group’s organization.
-Strong sales personality, high energy level and a resilient temperament, outgoing, resourceful individual with intellectual curiosity and direct approach.
-Team-oriented, working independently and self-motivated.
-Appropriate academic credentials including graduate degree.
-Fluent in Korean and English.
