GSAM: Third Party Distribution Sales Support, German Client Coverage, based Frankfurt recruitment

The Third Party Distribution (TPD) sales support role is dedicated to increasing the sale of GSAM products through supporting the sales activity of the external sales force. The successful candidate should feel comfortable having follow up conversations with clients and should also quickly establish knowledge of GSAM products and marketing strategy. Primary client interaction will be by telephone with limited travel to client sites.

This sales support position is a fast paced challenging sales role for self-motivated and driven sales professionals.

Responsibilities:
• Partner with external sales team to create and strengthen sales activity.
• Execute sales call campaigns through proactive contact and relationship building with clients.
• Identify client needs and suggest product offerings and marketing strategies.
• Provide sales and marketing ideas to financial advisors to help them strengthen their client relationships.
• Call to thank and recognize producers who utilize GSAM products.
• Follow up with financial professionals who recently met with an external salesperson.
• Establish, maintain and deepen relationships with clients.
• Organize territory in a manner that allows efficient work and timely follow up for clients
• Acquire knowledge of the complete Goldman Sachs product line and business building tools.
• Demonstrate organized and effective phone skills on a consistent basis.

Experience required

• Fluent German speaker willing to be based in Frankfurt
• Sales support experience from within the Financial service industry (ideally Asset Management)
• Bachelors degree
• MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Project management skills   
      
Preferred Qualifications      
• IMC qualification
• Solid presentation skills
