JOB DESCRIPTION
We are currently seeking outstanding Guest Services Valet Attendants for our area hotel contracts in Seattle WA. These properties are open seven days a week, 24 hoursa day, year round. We have positions available on our 1st (7-3 pm) and 2nd (3-11 pm) shifts as well as individuals that are available and interested in 3rd shift (11 pm-7 am) ONLY. Weekend availability is a MUST and flexible schedules are available. The compensation is a base rate plus tips.
JOB DUTIES
Duties of the Guest Services Valet Attendant includes but is not limited to:
- Pleasantly greet each customer as the arrive
- Make sure to assist incoming vehicles with all car doors, and offer a hand of assistance to those customers who appear to need it
- Ask each customer for a first or last name and give them a claim check
- Before parking the vehicle, quickly check it over for damage and document that damage
- Place keys in the designated spots
- Retrieve all vehicles in a safe and timely manner, again, opening all doors for customers, calling them by name and thanking them for using the Towne Park service
- APPLICANTS NEED TO BE LOCAL
- Great customer service skills, energetic and outgoing
- Must enjoy working outdoors year round and serving the public
- Ability to be on your feet for extended periods of time and may be required to jog and/or run up to 5-10 miles per shift
JOB REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate has at least one year of customer service experience, exceptional communication skills, and is seeking an active position. We are looking for positive, upbeat individuals who can deliver extensive hospitality. The minimum qualifications for this position are:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be able to drive a stick shift
- Must have a clean driving record
- Must speak, read write English
- Pre-employment background and drug screening are required
