GUI Engineer, VC++, OpenGL, GDI+, C#, WPF Job in Fort Lauderdale 33308, Florida US
Required Skills/Experience:
8-10+ years of experience in Windows graphical user interface (GUI) software development including Visual C++, MFC or COM (component object model). Strong or expert level C++ or C#, windows User Interface (UI) skills with Visual C++ or C#, creating clean and crisp UI’s that are efficient and perform fast and well. Excellent drawing with VC++ and MFC; use OpenGL and GDI+, C# and WPF. OO Design and code re-usability. version control systems, TFS, problem solving, research and analytical skills, Software development life cycle (SDLC) team experience; if you worked on teams with testers doing test automation or TDD, that is a plus; research, design, implementation, documentation, deployment and maintenance. Large products, robust features, long-term planning. Exhibits good technical design skills. Must be able to work well within a team environment, using Agile and Scrum, have exceptional oral and written communication skills. Must be a self-starter who requires minimal supervision. Experienced in problem solving, and able to follow a methodical implementation process. Prefer experience developing commercial software, “shrink wrapped” software development, video game titles, imaging software, graphic intensive software, charts, graphs, GUI / UI Windows software with C++ and/or C#. Broad experience with .NET Framework 3.0 and 3.5, prefer .NET 4.0, C# 4.0; Work history including Visual C++, MFC, GUI skills prior to C# is a plus. Prefer experience in the design and development of .Net projects with hands on experience using C# and SQL Server. Strong GUI skills. Prior user interface development with a focus on usability, and clean, crisp UI, and efficient use of the UI. Experience using Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) is a plus. Prior Visual C++ is required. Direct experience with graphical manipulation and drawing drag dock, shading, drawing, etc. Open GL, OpenGL experience is a nice plus! GDI or GDI+ experience is a nice plus! Agile methodologies is a plus.
Preferred Skills/Experience:

Employment Type: Regular Full-Time
Salary Range: $100,000 to $130,000 per year
