Overview:
This is a dynamic opportunity for you to ultimately design, research and develop new highly advanced applications resulting in new product/business opportunities for the company. In this position, you will help develop requirements and support analysis, documentation and resolution of Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) systems to validate or assess the system design or models. Here, you can experience a variety of challenges, from designing trajectories and orbits in space to meet requirements and environmental influences, to initiating technology strategies to include advanced mathematical approaches and algorithms.
Sample Responsibilities, Based on Experience:
- Supports execution tests, analysis and design review per FAA, MIL-SPEC and NASA guidance to deliver a compliant product.
- Gathers, defines and documents system-level requirements to support flight control and mission or trajectory requirements definition and resolves requirement conflicts.
- Oversees evaluation of system-level requirements to support flight control and mission or trajectory requirements definition.
- Leads new research activities and establishes test procedures and definitions for industry/international standard development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctorate in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
- ABET is preferred, although not required.
