Our client a leading Financial Organisation is looking for a Team Lead Developer to join their team and be responsible for developing functionalities for ongoing projects and support on-going system enhancements for the company
You will be involved in the architecture, design and development of the firm’s Client Facing Web technologies. Practical hands-on experience in delivering Web solutions is a pre-requisite for this role and a detailed knowledge of Web Technologies and Client facing portals is a must
As part of IT management it is expected that the candidate can contribute to improving how IT works within the business environment
Responsibilities
Software Development for the company and other client facing web applications
Development using GWT, Java, MS SQL, Sybase Databases
Provide Regular updates on status to Development Manager on work
Update project status and supporting documents
Essential Skills
At least 8 years of Software Development
Experience and understanding of Web Systems and Development
Ability to present complex and technical concepts/issues to the Development Team
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Information Technology background, preferably in Java, MS SQL, Sybase and SOA
Solution oriented with proven results in situations of minimal supervision
Ability to manage geographically distributed Teams and Business Users
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of Research Distribution and associated workflows
Knowledge of Mobile/Handheld/Portal Device Technologies
Educational
Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Project Management, Business or related curriculum
Masters qualified candidate preferred
