About the Job

Habitat ReStore Manager
The Habitat for Humanity ReStore is seeking a creative, dynamic, energetic store manager. This is a unique retail environment that sells new and used donated building supplies, home improvement merchandise and furniture to the public. The store has a new location and it is an exciting time for the right candidate to be a part of our dynamic team, as well as help to grow the store and create positive visibility for the ReStore throughout the region.
Qualified candidates will have strong personnel management skills, have a "customer first" mindset, be skilled in creating effective visual displays, have knowledge of fair market values of new and used building materials, basic computer skills, the ability to relate to a diverse population and motivate volunteers, physical ability to safely lift up to 25 pounds and complete work in the store/warehouse, even during inclement weather, a valid driver's license with a good driving record, leadership experience, and have the desire to work in a non-standard retail environment in which the bulk of time will be spent standing, walking, and otherwise assisting customers. This is an exceptional opportunity for a marketing-oriented, business-savvy individual who wants to apply his/her skills to raise revenues to support a successful non-profit organization.
The mission of Habitat is to partner with working families, sponsors and communities to build safe and affordable homes and to provide support services that promote successful home purchase and ownership. The ReStore Manager supports the ReStore's dual roles of raising revenues to support Habitat's mission and raising awareness of the organization's programs.
This position is full-time, Tuesdays through Saturdays.
