We are looking for someone who is a *pure* C++ developer spending most of his time (if not all) in coding the best of low-latency systems.
Responsibilities:
- Develop low-latency algo trading / exchange connectivity / market data electronic trading systems
- Analyze the current systems latencies and come up with innovative ways to improve it
- Work closely with counterparts in New York and London on global initiatives
Requirements:
- Strong technical background in software development. Strong experience in developing C++ applications using STL/Multi Threading/Boost for LINUX
- Good knowledge with the following technologies: TCP/IP, FIX, UDP, RDBM, scripting (perl, python), etc.
- Experience with Electronic and Algorithmic Trading
- Knowledge of Market Structure of Asia Equity markets
- C++ low latency development skill will be a big plus
- Ideally we are looking for someone from a hedge fund/market making firm or a smaller buy-side institution
- Someone who does not have an Equities but has build low latency C++ systems on the FX
We have roles in Singapore and Hong Kong. Someone hands with lead experience may be considered for a lead position in Hong Kong
Candidates on the buy-side at smaller firms or a prop shop highly preferred
