Unisem is currently hiring for an IT Manager who will work with Unisem Sunnyvale staff, to ensure that everyone is getting the most out of our Information Technology systems.
The IT Manager is someone who is positive and patient technologist, willing to do ground level work of setting up new system, troubleshoot and maintain existing systems, assist and train users to get productive quickly and efficient.
The IT Manager will be comfortable with IT tasks at all levels, from replacing a mouse to setting up servers to recommending in software/hardware selections.
Duties, but not limited to:
- Purchase and build systems(laptop/desktop/smartphone) for Unisem team members.
- Support all users with various issues(helpdesk).
- Manage the IT infrastructure(network and servers).
- Troubleshoot various IT systems.
- Coordinate with Global IT team with various corporate IT projects.
- Manage vendor and vendor selection from ISP, telco and cellular phone providers.
- Manage various SaaS services.
- Assist with various workstation and network for semiconductor testing equipments.
- Support the corporate website and internal Sharepoint portal.
- Creating various SQL reporting based on user requirements.
Experience with the following is required:
- Windows NT/2000/2003/2008 for servers.
- Windows NT/2000/XP/7 for desktop and laptops.
- Various Linux(CentOS, Ubuntu, RedHat), Unix(SunOS, Solaris)
- Windows Services for Unix(SFU) with NFS impelemtation.
- VMware ESX, ESXi and VSphere for virtualization.
- Dell iSCSI SAN for our virtualization storage network.
- Microsoft Exchange 2003/2007 with backend/frontend, OWA, and smartphone deployment.
- Blackberry Enterprise Server (BES)
- Microsoft SQL 2000/2005 with SSIS and SSRS.
- Understanding of SQL, Excel, and ability to manipulate data.
- Microsoft Sharepoint and WSS 3.0 implementation and administration.
- IIS, WSUS, Accpac, Timeforce, Yosemite/Barracuda Backup System.
- Cisco ASA firewall, IPSEC VPN and SSL-VPN.
- Cisco and Dell network switches and routers.
- Broad familiarity with networking, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP.
- Understanding of HTML, ASP, and web server.
- Broad familiarity with various Microsoft software.
- Internal and External customer service role.
- Experience with Project Management, but not required.
