This position will repair and reimage servers, provide customer support in the replacement of failed hardware.
Additional Responsibilities include:
- Undertake specifically assigned projects
- Perform other tasks as may be assigned
- Back-up for Operations Analysis on administration regarding Advanced Replacements..
Responsibilities:
- Wipe, image and license servers.
- Do testing and analyze anomalies.
- Do light integration and repair of servers.
- Provide critical feedback data on failed units.
- Maintain clean organized lab environment.
- Collaborate with integrators on process and problems.
- Collaborate with Supply Quality manager on RMA units.
- Provide customer service at the point of advanced replacement.
- Coordinate with Technical Support on advanced replacements.
- Research Support cases and document details of the replacement activity.
Qualifications:
- Self starter with initiative and independent judgment.
- Must have technical knowledge of computer components and hardware.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team is critical.
- Excellent organization and communication skills.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, Excel and Word.
- Knowledge working with linux, both with the CLI and GUI.
- Requires minimum of 5 years work experience in a comparable position.
- Able to lift 50 lbs.
