About Us

As a Lead Engineer / Technologist you will use your expertise and experience to take a leading role in designing, verifying and qualifying electronic modules and products for leading edge aviation programmes.
· Execute the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements
· Provide technical leadership to personnel supporting the assigned project
· Document technical data generated by the assigned project consistent with engineering policies and procedures
· Provide timely communications on significant issues or developments
· Participate on teams assigned to address organizational initiatives and generic issues
· Participate as a presenter or reviewer in technical and program reviews
· Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures

Duties will include
. Design the architecture and electronics of electronic modules and products
. Integrate and verify electronic products and modules
. Provide technical advice within the department and to customers
. Coach and mentor junior engineers
. Diagnose and fix design problems in new and existing designs
. Support products through environmental and EMC qualification

Role Summary/Purpose

· 2.2 Degree (or HND) in Electronic Engineering or a related subject, or similar level of knowledge and experience.· Experience of analogue and digital design.. Proven experience of the whole product design lifecycle.. Ability to deliver to demanding time and cost goals. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
· Strong technical aptitude, including applicable engineering tools and systems· Solid oral and written communication skills· Strong interpersonal and leadership skills· PC proficiency. Understanding of EMC and Qualification (Especially in aircraft applications). Experience of aircraft interfacing.. Experience of microcontroller circuit design
