Volt Technical Resources has a position available in Redmond, WA for a Hardware Test Engineer. Testing is similar to that specified by TIA-920 and leverages Head Acoustics (Acqua) test system as well as tools built internally by Our Client.
Secondary responsibilities may include video device (webcam) image quality testing using software from Imatest and USB HID testing.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design Verification and Assurance activities of PC A/V Devices, for multiple projects independently.
- Execution of the test plan for audio devices (i.e. performing Functional testing and Compatibility testing).
- Review of testing documentation.
- Identify improvements to test tools.
- Participate in specification and design reviews and in investigations of test results.
This is an estimated 6 month Contingent/Temporary position, with possible extensions, in Redmond, WA. This position is offered through Volt Technical Resources, located in Phoenix, AZ. Requirements:
Hardware Test Engineer Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of Acoustic Testing with ListenInc SoundCheck, or Head Acoustics Acqua.
- 2-4 years of Acoustic file analysis with Adobe Audition or similar.
- 4 or more years of being a "Power User" of Windows OS.
- At least one year of experience with Product Studio (bug filing).
Education:
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
