HEALTHCARE ASSISTANT LEVEL 2 REQUIRED FOR MOD IN STAFFORD
Hays Healthcare have a fantastic opportunity available for a healthcare assistant level 2 for a long term temporary position, in the MOD medical centre at Beacon Barracks Beaconside Stafford.
This is a rare chance to prove your nursing assistant qualities and skills for this prestigious role.
The HCA will undertake tasks and duties delegated by a suitably qualified regulated professional. administrative support is required so basic computer skills are a must. Good team workers are important, working with the general practice team to meet the needs of patients, The HCA will assist the Medical officers and practice nurse teams within Primary Health Care clinics, Occupational Health assessment clinics, chronic disease clinics, health promotion. The HCA will need knowledge and experience of cclinical measurements, visual acuity, venepuncture, ECG, urinalysis and preparation of specimens, understanding of infection control.
Essential skills required are; Basic literacy and numeracy skills;NVQ Level 2 in health care or have the equivalent experience. Also some Medical Devices Competencies, Cardio-pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training, Basic Life Support and Manual Handling Training. Hays can provide some of this training additionally.
