US Navy contracts also involve work scope for the US Air Force and foreign governments. Contract types include cost plus, fixed price, and time materials. Lead program manager and the primary customer point of contact for the USAF HARM Control Section Modification (HCSM) program, responsible for completing the competitive Limited Production phase with transition into Full-Rate Production phase. Pursuit and management of internal funding may include capital, inventory, new business investments, and company funds requests associated with pre-contract authorizations. Support multiple proposals prepared and negotiated each month. Present internal executive program reviews to highlight progress, issues, and concerns. Must be able to lead IPTs, and interface with prime contractors and military development and/or acquisition agencies. Occasional domestic and international travel. Responsible for leading a team of subject matter experts in the disciplines of aircraft integration, software maintenance, guidance/navigation/control, RF, test asset development, systems engineering, and flight test. Partners with the Chief Engineer to ensure adequate staffing to support all projects simultaneously. Also partners with other functional leads to accurately propose new business and long range staffing needs.
