JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform Fusion of HDPE plastic pipe products operating fusion equipment in the field Drive to customer locations for service, repairs, deliveries, set up, for the on site fusion of HDPE Deliver, install, assemble, pump, pipe and tank manifold jobs Perform QMS Levels I, II, and III quality inspections on equipment as necessary Secondary containment set up assistance and repairs. Assist in loading/unloading of trucks. As necessary, ability to operate forklift (Must pass BakerCorp forklift testing). Make mechanical repairs and perform regular maintenance on rental and company equipment. Clean, test, and load pump hoses, fittings and rental equipment. Drive pipe and pump trucks hauling a pipe trailer as necessary. Follow all DOT regulations. Touch up painting and cosmetics on the outside and inside of equipment Maintain needed levels of parts and supplies. Participate in inventory of rental equipment. Complete appropriate Baker documentation/paperwork for work performed and equipment transactions. Other duties as assigned Job Requirements JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of Fusion of HDPE plastic pipe products to direct water from pump to pump to frac trailers is a plus, or must be willing to learn and perform in the field. Mechanical aptitude necessary - 2 or more years of practical mechanical experience preferred. CDL-A with Tanker and Haz-Mat Endorsements preferred but not required . Minimum 2 years driving experience. Clean MVR necessary. TWIC required or willingness/ability to acquire. Prior experience driving off-road for deliveries a plus. Ability to climb upon flatbed trailers and tank trailers for inspection, set up, and take down. Arc-welding experience preferred (certification not required). Ability to follow an inspection or maintenance checklist. Ability to lift heavy loads continuously. Willingness to work in inclement weather. Ability to be on-call 24 hours per day. Ability to make occasional overnight trips. Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally. Customer service skills required.
