Head Compliance recruitment
Our client, a solid Private Corporate Bank, is looking for a new Head of Compliance for their Geneva office. In this capacity you will lead a team of experienced Compliance Officers, dealing with all areas of Private Banking Compliance: Financial Crime, Account Opening, CDB, Suitability.
You will advise and support the CRMs and provide training where necessary. Whilst staying abreast of regulatory developments, you ensure the business is fully compliant with existing regulations, enhance the Compliance framework where necessary and advise Senior Management to ensure the Bank complies with legislation. You deal with escalated breaches and analyse risky account openings.
Your background consists of a University degree in either Law or Business Administration, followed by 7 years of experience in Private Banking Compliance in Switzerland. You speak fluently English and French, with German being of distinct advantage. You have an in-depth knowledge of applicable regulations such as, AML, Due Diligence, Products and Sactions.
In terms of personality you are an effective communicator, able to handle complex situations and cope under pressure. You are solution minded, well organised and have a structured approach.
