Head Controller – Technology Start-Up recruitment
A fast growing and successful technology start-up firm based in New York is looking for a Controller with a broad range of experience. The individual should be one who has worked in a start-up setting or has developed an accounting function from the ground up. The Controller will be someone who is a key person that will develop and oversee the entire accounting function for the firm including internal audit, general accounting, property accounting, cost accounting, budgetary controls, general ledger, payroll, AR and AP. The firm is a fast passed environment and their product is a ground breaking and industry changing tool.
Qualifications:
- BA in Accounting is necessary from a top teir college or university
- CPA certification
- 3 -5+ years of experience in Accounting working at a Technology or Software company
- Start-up experience desired
- Expert experience with Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks Enterprise
