Head of Account Management recruitment
The successful candidate will be responsible for oversight of an organization whose main responsibilities is the management of the technical relationship with the firm’s clients to ensure that The firms services are presented accurately during the sales stages, implemented and integrated successfully within client environments and then appropriately supported in production.
Job Description
- Staff Management of group including budget responsibilities, administrative processes inclusive of performance reviews, promotions, hiring decisions, staff allocations, work assignments, talent management and development and coaching of direct reports and top talent within the organization.
- Ensure that staff and managers are adequately trained and equipped to handle the responsibilities of their job.
- Frequent interaction with clients at times taking a leadership role in the resolution of technical issues or service interruptions. Develop and leverage senior relationships with major clients and meet frequently to assess both the performance of the Technical Account Management group as well as the firm service at large.
- Manage a team of Product Specialists who support The firms products from a pre-sales, client on-boarding and post sales perspective.
- Serve as an escalation point for both clients and internal resources to resolve any aspect of service delivery that does not meet the firms or client expectation.
- Refine the Technical Account Management role, through agreements with other groups and roles/responsibility definition, to ensure that the role continues to add value where and when needed.
- Develop, launch and manage programs, either within the organization or in collaboration with other groups that help to provide better transparency and effectiveness to the firm service.
- Serve as a client advocate internally at the firm in the broad area of service leadership. Work closely with various groups are The firm to shape both product strategy and service policy in an effort to meet or exceed demanding client expectations for performance, ease of operation/management, predictability, communications, and reliability of the firm services.
- Define, structure and lead execution of a broad set of service campaigns which entail developing and delivering a value proposition to clients, initiating order activity for upgrades of client site technologies (desktop or infrastructure) and managing the end-to-end process
Key Objectives include:
- Achievement of US renewal rate
- Prioritize key accounts and develop account management plan
- Work with management to define and implement client care envelope
- Continually asses target market and work with management to ensure company is delivering relevant products
- Identify accounts at risk and create a plan to ensure renewals are secured
- Act as a client advocate with the client

- Achievement of forecast renewal rate
- Achievement of company annual revenue targets

- Communication of market requirements to Research and Development
Skills Required
- Substantial fixed income experience ideally within both an investment banking firm and as a vendor.
- Experience with trading floor operations related to fixed income and best practices for testing, integration, and production support.
- An experienced people leader, ideally as manager of managers, who can defines a vision and lead/motivate a team to realize this vision.
- Excellent presentation (written, oral, and public speaking) skills required as well as a professional and confident presence.
