On behalf of our client we are seeking an engaged and customer focused candidate to take on the role of Head of Accounting for Scandinavia. This person will hold full responsibility for ensuring the accounting, financing and reporting is run effectively and efficiently in a timely manner as well as to support and contribute in other major business objectives. The position is based in the company's office at Stockholm Arlanda Airport and reports to the Scandinavian Finance Director.
Job Description
- Responsible for ensuring LSG Sky Chefs conducts all accounting in accordance with Swedish GAAP and IFRS
- Manage the day to day operations of Accounting including AP, AR, VAT, management reporting, vendor set-up, GL maintenance, FA registry etc.
- Ensure timely delivery of month-end, Quarterly, and Year end close
- Coordinate with external and internal auditors to fulfill legal requirements and deliver timely closings
- Provide Ad-Hoc support and analysis to business and Finance Director as well as the regional CFO
Requirements
- University education in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
- Minimum 3 years relevant work experience from one of the big 4
- Sound knowledge of Swedish GAAP, IFRS, VAT Tax regulations
- Proven ability to drive results and work in a team
- Strong Financial Analytical Skills
- Experience with SAP is considered a merit
