There is currently an opportunity to join the Consumer Lending Team in a Head of Acquisition role. This position will lead a team of three marketing professionals and be responsible for achieving consumer lending targets while maximising account growth and profitable opportunities. This is a senior role and will have high visibility across the bank with exposure to the executive team. With high levels of stakeholder management this role will suit someone who has worked in a senior role with management responsibilities across retail banking marketing, and have a particular focus on direct marketing.
Tasks and Responsibilities
* Develop overall acquisition strategy and work with the team to implement campaigns and initiatives to achieve targets
* Work with Marketing Managers on each direct acquisition campaign to develop and optimise marketing strategy, selection criteria, timing, offer, test objectives and projected results.
* Lead process improvement and innovation across all areas, including acceptance, risk and all consumer touch points, to increase customer satisfaction and business profitability.
* Develop, maintain and improve profit models and forecasting tools used to estimate all acquisition campaign results.
* Drive diversification and optimisation across all channels, products and offers to ensure key short-term and long-term profitability metrics - CPA, accounts, ENR and revenue - are maximised. Track individual channel profitability to underpin optimal allocation of marketing budget.
* Work with Marketing Managers to identify customer insights and segments through qualitative and quantitative research. Manage the development of models to deliver relevant positioning, product and pricing combinations to maximise activation, utilisation and revenue of both new and existing accounts.
* Manage acquisition team - Develop PMOs, conduct quarterly reviews and provide formal and informal feedback. Provide leadership and direction to team to drive effective campaign and channel management, and strong overall performance.
The successful candidate will have experience in a similar level role within banking or financial services, and have a proven ability of developing and managing a team. You will be customer focused with the ability to recognise opportunity and drive change and innovation. This role will demand a candidate with a hands on approach combined with the ability to think strategically and build effective and positive relationships across the business. The role will provide an opportunity to join a leading global bank in a period of growth, and a position that will have exposure across the senior leadership team.
