Head of Actuarial Risks and Controls
We are currently looking to hire a qualified actuary for a head of internal review position within a large UK insurance company . This is a highly technical position reviewing the key risks and controls within the various actuary teams. You will have direct responsibility for a small and specialist team, while also be expected to manage very senior stakeholder relationships and face off to those individuals with yuor reccomendations, meaning this is a position where you can really add value to the company.
Within this position you will be leading the complex reviews of Solvency 2, Reserving, Pricing, Capital, Market, Credit, and Liquidity Risk. You will also be responsible for the quality of the work, and the reporting of your findings to senior stakeholders within the Business.
To be considered you will need to have a very strong actuary background, and be fully qualified. You do not need an Audit background but you do need to be able to articulate the risks and controls surrounding the above areas of business and have strong communication skills.
Salary : up to £140,000
