Head of Algorithmic Trading Technology – London UK recruitment
This is an amazing opportunity to take lead role in a successful and growing electronic broker in London. Through continued push into the Asian markets, the team is expanding and seeking a senior hands on C++ developer, with deep experience in the algorithmic trading space to lead the technical effort of the team. You will report to the business and take a key role in the design of the algorithmic trading/execution platform, working closely alongside experience traders/quants in initiating and implementing strategies. You will also engage in communicating with clients thus confidence and strong communication skills are paramount. The successful candidate will initially lead a team of three talented C++ developers in London, and as the business grows in New York and Asia, these management responsibilities will likely evolve to a global scale. The role will be based in the City of London and compensation will be extremely competitive with potential for a very large cash bonus.
Responsibilities Head of Algorithmic Trading Technology – London will include;
• Lead the design and development of Multi-threaded, Low Latency System in C++/Linux
• Smart Order Routing / FIX
• Report to Business Head in London
• Interact with clients
• Lead a team of 3 C++ developers in London
• Optimize, implement and back-test algorithmic trading strategies
• Work alongside quantitative analysts/traders in London
