Head of AML Technology recruitment
In this role, you will be responsible for the delivery of AML solutions across the various business sectors (corporate, consumer and private banking) across APAC and EMEA. You will also need to provide senior management reporting to the Asiaseniors, including Asia AML Head and Asia AML Operations Head.
AML implementation covers Know Your Customer (KYC), name screening and AML monitoring.
Responsibilities
Be fully responsible for the implementation of AML solutions across all business lines.
Lead Development, Production Support and deployment initiatives.
- Lead initiatives that work towards a global standardized core system for KYC, name screening and AML monitoring
- Identify key project risks and manage to resolution to ensure the delivery of Program goals on-time and within budget
- Work closely with Business and Technology globally to understand the relevant Business processes from end-to-end, and to be expert on the root of Business needs and concerns
- Become a Subject Matter Expert / Trusted Advisor in AML, and continuously improve the relationship with the global and regional Program Stakeholders
- Assess requirements and design options for appropriately sized solutions that solve
- Business needs, and influence Stakeholders to arrive at consensus on these solutions
- Oversee the development of Business / Functional Requirements specifications that document the agreed to requirements in line with strategic objectives
- Ensure the appropriate formal project management, including project plans, timely status updates
Requirements
- More than 15 years of I.T. experience, with more than 5 years in program / project management.
- Strong knowledge of client onboarding and how cash flows through a business
- Strong knowledge of Know Your Customer (KYC), name screening and / or Anti-money laundering (AML) monitoring, with prior successful implementation experience.
- Proficient in MANTAS or Actimize or other similar systems is a plus
- A good understanding of Business Process Mgmt or BPM is a plus
- Understand the process of threshold analysis for AML
- Pro-active, thorough, organized and energetic
- Good communication skills (both verbal written), interpersonal skills and presentation skills.
