Head of Application Development Job in Lincolnshire, Midlands UK
McGinley Human Resources are recruiting for The Head of Application Development. The sucessful candidate can be based in any UK location but will be required to travel frequently to Woking, Bournemouth and Lincoln (a company car is provided).
The post holder will be responsible for the strategic and operational direction of the Application Development group, and its agreed performance and the responsibility for putting the Application Development Strategy (ERP and non-ERP Apps) in place. It is essential that applicants have experience of running a software development practice for an outsourcing company.
Essential Qualifications/skills:
ITIL or Prince2 certification or verifiable experience of formal service management is mandatory
In depth knowledge and experience of working with clients in the public sector
Demonstratable experience in working in both Application development and support environments
Experience of managing multiple services to multi-clients
Demonstrable experience of effectively managing a PL from both a cost and revenue perspective; including cost modelling experience
