Head of Audit
My client, a top tier retail bank, requires an exceptional Head of Audit Technology to lead their Finance and Risk IT Audit function.
The Finance Risk IT Audit team are responsible for IT Audit across all finance risk applications, and although there is an Infrastructure Audit team within the bank, this team are required to look at the underlying Infrastructure as and when necessary. The Finance Risk IT Audit team will also perform integrated audit support, in a risk-based fashion, alongside their respective finance risk operational audit teams.
The Head of IT Audit will manage the function comprising a number of Senior Audit Managers and Audit Managers and will be part of the leadership, and thus will contribute to the overall audit plan for the Group.
You will have strong technical auditing experience, specifically with regards to applications and will have practised this in an integrated function. You will also have strong experience of owning a large and complex portfolio.
Communication skills will be essential across all levels of the business. You will communicate effectively with stakeholders at the highest level. Developing and mentoring the IT Audit professionals in your function will also be key and as such experience of this will be required.
