Department manager in the wind power industry
Taking blade technology to the next level
With reference to the Global Head of RD for Blades you will be responsible for the Blade Design organization consisting of 15-20 highly skilled employees. The department works with blade integrity, blade design (structures) and materials. As manager of the department your main tasks will be to attract and motivate world-class specialists to meet the department’s operational objectives and to establish good relations both internally and with external partners such as suppliers, universities and other key stakeholders.
Strong leadership skills and experience with composites
You have a strong theoretical background, preferably with a degree in Engineering or similar. From your previous experience you are familiar with composite technology, working with structures and materials. Alternatively, you have profound knowledge from working with certification of composite components.
As a manager you have a strong people management background. You have excellent people skills, and you are a driven and structured manager with the ability to succeed through others. You are characterized by a positive attitude, and you are skilled at building cross-functional relationships in an international organization.
