Head of Broker Sales, Salary: £25k - £30k + uncapped OTE, Location: Watford
Summary
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join an expanding energy company in Watford as the Head of Broker Sales. You will promote the sales, products and services to SME customers through utility brokers and consultants.
You responsibilities will include:
• Target and encourage utility brokers and consultants to promote the services
• Build and retain customer portfolio
• Gather and record market information on broker and consultant activity
• Build a knowledge profile that can be used for marketing activity
• Build relationships with utility brokers and consultants
• Maximise margin opportunity retain business
• Be the primary point of contact for nominated brokers into the business manage relationships with all departments
• Own the relationship and provide consistency of service
• Build brand awareness and an identity that is seen as identifiable in the market
• Manage the commercial relationship between the company and the broker / consultant
Skills and Experience Required
- Strong sales negotiation skills to build relationships with brokers and consultants on a basis that brings benefit
- Excellent people management and influencing skills to achieve sales results through a third party sale force
- Good general business process knowledge covering sales and customer management
- Understanding of customer and broker contracts (commercial arrangements)
- Financial management skills to deliver profit targets around gross margin and unit costs
- Ability to cope with several projects at any one time, sometimes working to tight deadlines.
