Head of Business Development – Asset Management recruitment
A leading Asian financial services firm with a self professed goal of creating value for investors, our client has five major business areas: sales and trading, investment banking, research, asset management, and private equity.
Asset Management offers a range of investment products in equities, fixed income, fund of funds, and direct financing. In Hong Kong, the Asset Management team provides both traditional and alternative investment products. The traditional funds mainly focus on offshore public/private funds in equities, FI, balanced portfolios, as well as QFII investments. Alternative investment products offered include hedge funds, fund of funds, commodity exchange funds, private equity and exotic funds.
The role
This is a senior role and will be instrumental in the success of the Asset Management business growth. You will;
- Report to company CEO.
- Developing the institutional sales business through promoting the investment strategies and fund products of the company.
- Expand business networks with institutional clients overseas, manage and maintain existing customer relationships; explore the potential overseas business opportunities.
- Lead and coordinate with other functions in the design and development of the fund products.
The person
Working across Hong Kong, mainland China and internationally you will need to have a strong track record gained including;
- 5-8 years' business development experience in asset management sales, institutional coverage and funds distribution in oversea market.
- Good network with private bank, distribution channel and institutional clients etc.
- Excellent presentation skills and sales-oriented.
- Fluent Mandarin and English essential.
