Head of Business Development – Online and Mobile Banking Job in London, London UK

 

Are you an established Business Development Manager with demonstrable experience within digital  media, retail financial services, or management consultancy?  Would you like the opportunity to lead a company in its Business Development strategy at a pivotal time in its development?

Our client is a rapidly expanding research agency, specialising within competitive intelligence services to the online and mobile banking sectors.  They have a consultative and client services driven approach to sales and are looking for a close skills match for this key role in the business.

 

Role Description:

 

-Delivering pitch-winning presentations to new and existing clients

-Managing the full sales cycle, including new business development

-Working with directors to provide input into the strategic direction of the business

-Implementing marketing initiatives, ranging from sales collateral to social media

-Managing one direct report, a Sales and Marketing team member

 

Person Specification:

 

To qualify, you should be a proactive Business Development/Sales Professional with the following skills and attributes:

 

-Specific experience in retail financial services

-Digital industry experience – whether online, mobile or social media related

-Management consultancy, business information, research, customer/user experience or usability

-Experience of nurturing existing accounts (account management)

-Experience of sourcing new accounts (business development)

-A consultative approach to selling

-Excellent target-setting, pipeline management and negotiation skills
