Head of Business Development – Brook Asset Management recruitment
Brook Asset Management Limited is a specialist investment management company based in Auckland, New Zealand. We have a highly qualified and experienced team of investment professionals who are focused on building portfolios of securities that our investment process identifies as having superior long-term return prospects.
A new opportunity exists for an experienced Business Development professional to take the lead for developing and driving the new business plan for Brook. Reporting into the Managing Director this is a role that would suit a relationship driven and sales focused individual who is passionate about identifying new business opportunities and channels. This is also a great role for someone who is looking to play an important role in contributing to the strategy of the business in the short and long term.
Other key responsibilities include:
- Oversee the direct client channel
- Presenting Brook and its solutions to the market
- Conduct intermediary visits and maintain and present meeting notes
- Building relationships and leading relationships with a range of stakeholders including, Macquarie Private Wealth advisers, external advisers, internal analysts and external research consultants
Ideally successful candidates will have:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications (Finance, Economics)
- Proven track record in business development roles within financial services, asset management
- Strong relationship and stakeholder management skills
- Possess top persuasion and influencing skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Have a team orientated approach and lead by example
