Head of Business Management – Consumer Banking

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and regional guidance for PL performance and issues, with a particular focus on key markets

• Develop regional strategies and growth initiatives across Consumer Banking, working with the business owners and getting involved in implementation/ governance as needed

• Develop corrective actions and co-ordinate implementation for APAC countries to improve business performance

• Work with the APAC countries to determine key initiatives to achieve targets outlined in ROP/MTO

• Deliver high-quality strategic support including development of presentations, business plans, targets and scorecards

• Provide governance and support for key regional committees and meetings

• Represent Consumer Banking at cross-business initiatives as and when required


Technical Skills/Capabilities/Working Experience

• Postgraduate qualification in a relevant discipline e.g. MBA

• Over ten years’ appropriate working experience, with sound management experience in the financial services sector

• Proven track record in developing and implementing strategies in complex businesses

• Superior financial, analytical and communication skills

• A commercial mindset focused on driving business outcomes

• Maturity, presence and drive to rally multiple stakeholders around key business priorities
