Head of Business Planning & Strategy recruitment
Our client is one of the world's largest and most prominent universal banks. They are currently recruiting for a Director of Performance Analysis Business Planning within the Retail Banking business.
Based in London, you will be at the forefront of the firm's business performance analytics. Focusing on the retail banking business, you will be accountable for a broad range of duties, including - strategic business partnering, detailed variance analysis, business planning and driving business strategy and change.
Duties of the role include, but are not limited to:
Analytical review of income, products and returns,
Provision to the business of meaningful commentary and deep-dive analytics,
Based on this output, deliver recommendations and strategy to the business, C-Suite and senior management for discussion and implementation,
Provision of competitor analysis,
Challenging the business on plans and assumptions,
Collaborate and JV on projects with the Group Strategy team.
This hugely commercial and highly visible role will be accountable for conceptualising, articulating and implementing key strategic priorities and ensuring alignment across the global business lines and geographies. Extensive interface with the division's CEO and CFO is commonplace and the incumbent will be expected to present and deliver answers to this level of individual.
To be considered for this fantastic opportunity you will need to possess the following qualifications/experience:
MBA and/or fully qualified CFA/ACA with excellent academic track record from world class organisations,
The successful individual will be currently working within a Bank and/or a globally recognised consultancy/strategy firm. They will have a detailed knowledge of the Retail Banking industry and other financial institutions,
Excellent communicator with experience of presenting to business heads and board level stakeholders,
Operating at SVP or Director level (or equivalent) currently and managing and leading an experienced, high-performing team,
