Head of Business Planning
An outstanding interim job opportunity for a highly commercial Head of Business Planning, based in North Hampshire. Our client is looking for a commercially astute individual, who can drive and prioritise strategic initiatives. This role will work with the Executive Committee and Senior Stakeholders, overseeing all programs and activities within the business.
*To contribute directly to the strategic direction for the business division·
*Collaborate across the business, to drive key initiatives
*Effectively engage, educate and stakeholder manage at executive level around the key strategic initiatives being delivered·
*Create the required reporting suite to provide timely and robust data relating to key initiatives
*Attendance and contribution to Executive meetings as a key advisor to this group and ability to drive tangible outputs from decisions
*Work closely with Marketing to ensure report material/presentations etc are on-brand and of the highest quality
*To monitor, and where applicable, manage Capital expenditure and Operational cost relating to the initiatives being delivered
*Other strategic projects as required and commensurate with the role
Skills/ Experience
*Project/Programme Management/PMO
*Business Reporting – exec level
*Excellent financial/commercial awareness- experience of working within a finance function/accounting
*Experienced in reporting, planning and delivering key strategic imperatives at a Senior level
*High level of intellect
*Highly organised and able to deliver through senior level relationships
*Breadth of skill and experience and proven track record in delivering highly strategic projects and programmes
*Ability to be a credible advisor
*Ability to influence at Executive level
It is essential that candidates have experience of working within a multi national organisation and had extensive involvement within senior leadership/stakeholders. Recent experience within a telecommunications/technology business is essential.
A finance background (ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant) is highly desirable.
